Alex and Lyn Bouteneff have both just retired from their jobs and will be creating more exhibiting at various craft shows and other venues.

Two of Alex’s hand blown glass scopes won awards at the Strathmore exhibit in Rockville in conjunction with the last Brewster Kaleidoscope Convention in Spring of 2016.scopes

There will be a Lotus Scopes open studio session on Saturday September 16. It will take place at 105 Buell Rd. Litchfield, CT. Alex will be showing and explaining the making of various kinds of kaleidoscopes and teleidoscopes.

There will be a Kaleidoscope-making class at the studio on Saturday Sept 23 from noon to 3:00. Alex will be helping students make a  1 1/2 inch brass kaleidoscope. Cost: $100 plus materials.
